Shanaya Sharma Among Invited Guests at Ramayana's 'Pratham Sankalp' Launch in Delhi

Actress and model Shanaya Sharma was part of the select guest list at "Pratham Sankalp," the pre-release event for the ambitious two-part epic Ramayana. The function was held on July 18, 2026, at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, and formally opened the film's global promotional campaign.

For the first time, the cast and the team behind the project came together before an audience. Those present at the private gathering were shown an embargoed version of the trailer ahead of its wider release. Fans across the world will get to see that trailer on July 24, 2026.

The film comes from director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Leading the cast are Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash. The music has been created by Oscar winners Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, who share composing duties on the score. Audiences can expect Part 1 in cinemas during Diwali 2026, while Part 2 arrives at Diwali 2027.

Sharma is a familiar face on Indian television, having taken on parallel lead roles in Hindi dramas alongside work in music videos and independent projects. Her interests reach beyond acting. She takes an active part in youth mentorship and social work carried out on a national scale.

At present she sits on the jury of the Empower Kids Personality School. She was recently honoured too as a celebrity guest at the 25th Grand Ceremony hosted by the Sanstha Adhikaar Manch.

By appearing at the Delhi event, Sharma found herself among a carefully chosen circle of guests present for one of the biggest film launches of the year. With its sweeping scale, its ensemble cast and a creative team drawn from across the globe, Ramayana has already generated considerable buzz well before its theatrical run begins.
