Mr. India Universal 2022, Kramik Yadav, Becomes an Inspiration for Youth
Mr. India Universal 2022 Kramik Yadav inspires youth with discipline, fitness, and a purpose-driven journey.
Ahmedabad-based model and performer Kramik Yadav is truly an inspiration to many. From taking on the responsibility of his family business to pursuing modeling, dance choreography, and making his mark on social media, Kramik has donned many hats and excelled in each of them.
Born on November 5, 1993, Kramik's early life and education were in Gujarat. "Growing up in Gujarat was wonderful," says Kramik. "The vibrant culture, the music, the art, everything felt magical." After completing his schooling, he pursued a diploma and then earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lokmanya College in Ahmedabad. Kramik tells DDT News, "From a young age, I wanted to experience the world and everything in it. This desire has reflected in all my life decisions."
Kramik's Modeling Journey
Kramik's professional modeling career began in early 2020. While this might seem a little late compared to the industry's typical timeline, he was determined to prove his talent and capabilities. In 2022, Yadav became the Rubaru Mr. India Universal champion, which paved the way for him to compete in the international competition, Caballero Universal, in Venezuela the same year. There, he secured the second runner-up position and also received the special title of Mr. Elegance. "Although it took me some time to get into modeling and pageantry, I have complete faith in destiny, and it has never led me astray," says Kramik.
Along with pageantry, Kramik has also been involved in cultural performances. He has trained in Garba and Gujarati folk dance and has designed and choreographed several Navratri and other cultural events in Ahmedabad. His involvement in large-scale cultural events has earned Yadav recognition as a prominent Garba dance choreographer. A Man of Many Talents
In addition to these roles and responsibilities, Krunal is currently managing his family's floral decoration business, which was established in 1988. Speaking about this, he said, “While I enjoy pageantry and roles that put me in the public eye, I think the Gujarati in me will always have an entrepreneurial spirit.”
Over the past few years, Yadav has received several awards in the fashion, cultural, and social categories. While this recognition reflects the increasing visibility of his work, its long-term impact on the industry will depend on his ability to maintain consistency across different fields. Currently, his career is at an interesting juncture, where he is balancing regional cultural significance with growing international exposure. "I feel incredibly fortunate to be receiving such wonderful opportunities, and I hope to continue making my country, my loved ones, and my friends proud."
